- Prior to founding Newport Global Advisors, Managing Director and Portfolio Manager at AIG Global Investment Group, where he was the head of the High Yield Group, overseeing $15 billion of high yield assets. He also oversaw the activities of the AIG Distressed Portfolio and was the lead portfolio manager of all general and separate high yield accounts.

Ryan Langdon

- Prior to founding Newport Global Advisors, Managing Director and Portfolio Manager in the High Yield Group of AIG Global Investment Group responsible for managing the AIG Distressed Portfolio and was a senior high yield investment analyst following the telecommunications and cable sectors when he joined the firm.
- Also worked in various senior capacities for American General Investment Management, ABN AMRO and Pacholder Associates Inc.
- Received a Bachelor of Science in Business Economics from Miami University in 1994 and a Master’s in Economics from Miami University in 1995
